| Premise: | A side-scrolling 1941? Yup, that's what this appears to be. A high-speed shooter with a World War II aerial combat theme. |
| Impressions: | It's just what you'd expect if 1941 was converted to side-scroll format, except for the following: you're flying the world-famous P-51D Mustang instead of a P-38 Lightning, you can now drop bombs (along with all of the other non-historical power-ups), and you can blow away both Nazis and Nips (my apologies to my many Japanese friends - just trying to maintain the historcial slang). It's a WWII buff's arcade gaming dream! How much of the hardware bearing down can you identify? |
