| Name: | Super Skidmarks |
| Author/Vendor: | Acid/Codemasters |
| Released: | 1993 |
| Type: | Racing (4WD) |
| Language: | English |
| Premise: | A pseudo-3D isometric off-road racing game. |
| Impressions: | The Amiga version of this Micro Machines 2 clone was superior to that game, but the people who ported this to the MegaDrive made a complete hash of the job. It's jerky, and somehow the control just isn't right. It's several stages past dire. Get Micro Machines 2 instead. (The Norseman) |
| Variations: | The only dump currently known to exist is one of the harder ones to find. It appears to be a pre-release beta, and the Norseman has theorized in a recent e-mail that it might have been self-released by the game's authors. If this can be confirmed and the resultant legal issues resolved, then this would add yet another commercial title to the pitifully small pile of PD G/MD cart dumps. |
| Recommended Emu: | Genecyst X (notable graphics problems at the start, but gameplay is unaffected) |
